Gemstone Information & Disclaimer – Real Ratna Gems

Effective Date: 19 October 2026

At Real Ratna Gems, we aim to provide clear and helpful information about gemstones so customers can make informed purchasing decisions. This policy explains important points about natural gemstones, treatments, certification, astrological beliefs and product variations.

1. Natural Gemstones and Their Characteristics

Natural gemstones are formed through geological processes and may display individual characteristics, including variations in:

- Colour and colour intensity.

- Clarity and transparency.

- Natural inclusions and internal features.

- Cut, shape and proportions.

- Surface characteristics and overall appearance.

These variations are common among natural gemstones and do not automatically indicate a defect.

Customers should refer to the individual product listing for the gemstone's stated characteristics, weight, dimensions and other available specifications.

2. Gemstone Treatments and Enhancements

Some gemstones may undergo treatments or enhancements to improve their colour, clarity, durability or overall appearance.

Where treatment information is available and applicable, it will be disclosed in the relevant product description or supporting documentation.

Customers who require a particular treatment status, such as an untreated or unheated gemstone, should confirm that requirement with us before placing an order. Such claims will be made only where supported by the available evidence or documentation.

3. Gemstone Authenticity and Product Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately and to represent the gemstone type and characteristics as stated in the relevant listing.

Customers are encouraged to review the product description carefully and contact our team if they need clarification about a gemstone's identity, weight, dimensions, treatment status or other specifications.

If a product is found to be incorrect or materially different from its description, the matter will be handled under our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy and applicable law.

4. Gemstone Certification

A laboratory certificate or gemstone identification report will be provided where expressly stated in the product listing or agreed upon before purchase.

A certificate may describe characteristics such as gemstone identity, weight, treatments or other findings within the scope of the issuing laboratory's examination.

Please note:

- Not every gemstone sold on our website necessarily includes an independent laboratory certificate.

- Certificates should be reviewed for the issuing laboratory, report number and stated findings.

- A laboratory report does not automatically guarantee a gemstone's resale value, investment performance or future market price.

- Any certification claim will be limited to the information supported by the relevant documentation.

Customers requiring a specific laboratory certificate should confirm its availability before purchasing.

5. Astrological and Traditional Beliefs

Gemstones such as Ruby (Manik), Emerald (Panna), Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj), Blue Sapphire (Neelam), Pearl (Moti), Red Coral (Moonga), Hessonite (Gomed) and Cat's Eye (Lehsunia) are associated with various beliefs and traditions in astrology.

Information about planetary associations, auspiciousness, traditional suitability or astrological benefits is provided for general informational purposes only.

Real Ratna Gems does not guarantee that wearing or possessing any gemstone will produce a specific result in a person's career, finances, relationships, health, education or personal life.

Customers should make purchasing decisions based on their own preferences, requirements and budget.

6. No Medical, Financial or Professional Advice

Gemstones are not a substitute for medical treatment, professional healthcare, financial advice, legal advice or other qualified professional services.

No gemstone should be purchased or used as a replacement for appropriate medical diagnosis or treatment.

Any traditional or astrological claims should not be interpreted as guaranteed outcomes.

7. Photographs, Colours and Display Differences

We make reasonable efforts to display our gemstones accurately through product photographs and descriptions.

However, the appearance of a gemstone may differ slightly from the displayed image due to:

- Lighting and photography conditions.

- Screen brightness and colour settings.

- Device and display differences.

- The gemstone's natural colour variations and optical properties.

Customers should rely on the written product specifications and any applicable certificate in addition to photographs.

8. Weight, Dimensions and Specifications

Gemstone weight may be stated in carats, grams or another specified unit. Dimensions and other measurements will be provided where available.

Customers should check the specifications of the particular product before ordering. Any material discrepancy between the delivered product and its stated description will be addressed in accordance with our policies and applicable law.

9. Pricing and Resale Value

Gemstone prices may depend on factors such as type, colour, clarity, cut, weight, treatment status, origin where reliably established, certification and market conditions.

The purchase price of a gemstone does not guarantee that it can later be sold at the same or a higher price.

Real Ratna Gems does not guarantee investment returns, appreciation in value, buyback prices or future resale demand unless a specific written arrangement expressly states otherwise.

10. Choosing the Right Gemstone

Customers are welcome to contact us before purchasing if they require clarification about product specifications, certification or availability.

If you are choosing a gemstone for astrological or traditional reasons, you may wish to consult a qualified adviser of your choice. Any such decision remains your responsibility.
